We looked at what was out there and decided we could do better. That's really all there is to it.

The platforms that were supposed to be for readers and writers stopped being that a long time ago. We noticed, and we weren't the only ones. So here we are.

We know what it feels like to hit a paywall mid-chapter. To have a story you loved disappear overnight. To watch a feed push whatever pays and bury everything else. We're building Storysea because we're done with all of that. The time you spend here is yours. Your stories will always belong to you, and if you ever leave, you can choose to take everything with you.

The only people we answer to are the ones using Storysea, and our only objective is making this worth their time. That's the best business plan we can think of.
